Spoiled

Yes, my squirrels are spoiled!    If you live in Oklahoma you already know this, IT"S HOT!!!. 106 today. My squirrels are really hot, so I thought I would be nice and give them a treat.

"Thanks, mom!!"  Sorry Ronald McDonald.

I'm just going to lay here....

His brother is going to lay in the bird bath and let the sprinkler hit him.  Dennis told me that today the squirrel came to the window and tried to jump into the house, twice! And he also moved Ronald over to lay next to him in the mister.   I wonder how my dogs would like a new pet???

  9. Gosh that is hot! Lucky squirrels, but I agree you have to do what you can.
As to your question about the weather just now, we are in the middle of winter and today it was 20C so really can't complain about that, It's pretty chilly early morning, can go down to 3/4C and in the evenings.. to be honest it's so changeable but if you're used to snow and really freezing winters i think ours would be considered pretty mild.

  10. Thanks for stopping by Driller's Place and the kind words. I am a native Oklahoman, therefore, as long as they aren't playing each other, I'm a Cowboy and a Sooner fan. But when the going gets tough, I'll be wearing Crimson and Cream. Love the squirrel photos. I don't think your squirrel needs to meet my Red Shouldered Hawk.
    Stop by again, anytime.

  12. So hot! I'm sure you would like some of our weather. Wettest June on record and still raining most of the time and forecast to last another few weeks.
There are those in the midlands and north much less fortunate than us though with serious flooding.
