The day to day struggles and blessings of
spinal cord patients and the caregivers that love them.
A welcome sight, I am sure. We used to have a Labrador cross who insisted on sitting on your knee during storms, not the most comfortable experience!
I am so thankful for the rain. Jag gets so scared when he hears the thunder, they hate it
You cuddle...I knocked Chipper out with a tranquilizer!
More for you over there I pray! That lovely initial rain-smell. Gorgeous. Dogs and thunder, a universal thing isn't it. I have 3 scaredy-dogs and one who hasn't an inkling what their problem is!
I'd love to see a nice, rainy day. Our little dog isn't scared of thunder, which is a good thing considering how much we get in the summer (often lightning and thunder without rain).
Good. Hope we got likewise back home (very little rain there in over 8 weeks when we left). Our dog too is very afraid of thunder - tries to find the smallest space to squeeze into.
So glad you got some rain.
Hi Cheri-Love your blog, visit from time to time but don't always leave comments--I feel compelled to do so for this one. I just LOVE thunderstorms-the lightening-wind and rain-mother nature's awesome power. Super heated air that roars across the sky for miles!! Bet it's the same now as when dinosaurs walked the earth, and I'll bet they were frightened too! I was once in a car that was struck by lightening with a childhood friend (Brian from New York Daily)..Shame to see the lake so dry-scary..But take up a collection and I'll bring my motorcycle out there--me starting it up is just like an Indian doing a rain dance-sometimes anyway..Talk to you soon-thanks for the visit-Jim
