Mural Monday 1

This is my first attemp at Monday Mural and I thought I would start with my hometown mural.  Every town Dennis and I have drive through we always look for a mural, so I have a few but I have to start off with Fairview, Oklahoma.  Now, I am going to say that I don't absolutely love this mural ( don't kill me) but I like it..

More to come, Cheri

  1. It looks very interesting, there is a lot to see. I enlarged it to get a better view!

  2. This is a long mural, you got a good shot of it.

  3. The leader of the team who painted the mural "jokingly" told me "a mural is a last-ditch effort to save a dying town". I was "slightly" offended by his comment.

  4. I enlarged it too. It tells a big story of your town and area. You and Dennis will have to go on lots of drives in the quest to get more photos for Monday Murals!!

  5. That's a nice mural. I'd run out of murals in about one post if I tried posting them1

  6. I like how it seems to extend beyond the building.
There could be a bit more colour to it, but it is still nice.

  8. Cheri, I believe Geary has a nice mural that you and Dennis could check out, also Hennessey and Kingfisher, I think. I love seeing them!

  9. I agree with you! When I first saw it it seemed somewhat dark... I do like it but I wish they would have made it more colorful. It does tell a lot of history of our town doesn't it? I do the same thing when we go through towns; I look for their mural. It tells a lot about the town.
