Random

When my husband Dennis and I go on road trips he is always giving me tips on pictures I should take.  Some I do and some I don't. He wanted me to take this tree and so I did.  I posted it in color and black and white, I am not a good judge of when a picture should be in black and white, any suggestions???  Click on them to make them bigger!

Happy Weekend, much love, Cheri

  1. Haha Cheri, I have no idea either which to choose I mean.... so for me, I turn them to sepia for roofs, chimneys and rusty 'things'. But, I LOVE colour!

  2. I like both versions. My friend Bill of blog "Tulsa Gentleman" tells me that to make a good b&w photo first boost the contrast before converting to b&w. It works great for him. I'm still experimenting around with it.

  3. In this case - colour. The greenish tint in the tree against the green background is difficult to convert to monochrome without special treatment.

  4. I like the color version - the beautiful greens and blues make this so beautiful.

  5. I'm voting color too, it seems to be the popular vote.

  6. I prefer the colour in this case also Cheri. I generally stick to colour for nature shots, but some street scenes are just made for b&W. p.s. my husband does that also, as long as he doesn't do it too often haha!
